High-top tower crane created for a real-time VR training simulator in Unity. Responsible for 3D modeling, texturing, shader and material setup, optimization, and engine integration. The crane was built as a modular system and can be expanded into virtually any tower crane configuration by combining and extending its structural components. The operator cabin is approximately 25K vertices, while the crane structure and mechanical assemblies are approximately 30K vertices. Texture atlases and purposefully separated material groups were used to balance draw-call efficiency, texture resolution, shader requirements, and visual quality. Mechanical components were separated according to their functional movement within the simulator. I also worked on the surrounding construction environment, including buildings, site assets, obstacle placement, lighting, shaders, and environment materials.
